As a child the STATE FAMOUS DJ OPZZY always had a pure love for music.  He started at an early age learning to play the saxophone in the 4th grade and that love for music turned into a marriage of excellence in the winter of 1999 when he purchased his first dj \u201ckit\u201d. From the first time he touched his set of turntables at 17 to currently rocking some of the biggest signature events in Ohio, DJ OPZZY has EARNED the title as being \u201cState Famous\u201d.  He is one of the hardest working DJ’s in the Midwest and has also played in various locations throughout the country including Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, Washington D.C. and Maryland.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]While first making his mark on the college radio scene as a mix show DJ at his alma mater Wright State University, OPzzy took Ohio by storm with being an elite social events Disc Jockey.  He has provided the soundtrack for countless signature black tie events, weddings, and club socials. He has been in the business over 16 years and has a true desire to make each event an \u201cexperience\u201d.<\/p>\n

From Hip Hop to R&B, Reggae, Pop and Top 40, OPzzy has the skills to move any crowd.  With his musical roots and keen ear, those same influences have allowed him to have an appreciation for all genres of music, thus setting him apart from his peers.  He has made memories through music for hundreds of private, corporate and night life patrons in the Midwest.  One of his best qualities is a high level of friendly customer service and professionalism which has garnered him a full calendar every year.<\/p>\n

DJ OPzzy is a native of Columbus, Ohio and is CEO of Elevation Entertainment, a social event promotion group specializing in event coordination and party planning.  He currently resides in the lovely Capital City.<\/p>\n
